Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. As a lover of “cloudscapes”, I'm constantly on the lookout for unusual cloud formations. My goal is to create artwork revealing "Cloud Cartography" by turning upside-down the geographic notion of using contour lines to represent undulations on the Earth's surface. This work was a juror's selection for display during the Wimberley Valley Art League's Sep-Nov 2016 show.
