Satin Sky No. 1 metal print by Pamela Showalter. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
As a lover of “cloudscapes”, I'm constantly on the lookout for unusual cloud formations. I invented "Cloud Cartography" -- applying the equivalent of contour lines (typically used to represent undulations on the Earth's surface) -- to accentuate clouds in some of my images. This photograph won Third Place in the Jul-Sep 2015 Wimberley Valley Art League's Regional Juried Exhibit; Juror - Peter Arcidiacono, Artist, San Marcos, Texas. It also won Second Place in the July 2015 "People's Choice" show held at Art on 12 Gallery and Studios.
