I saw this beautiful bird on the shoreline near the end of a pier I was walking on, and liked the angle of the shot – typically you see such birds from the shore with the ocean behind them. This work was a juror's selection for display during the Wimberley Valley Art League's Mar - Apr 2012 show; juror -- Utah Arts Counsel Teaching Artist.
